In a Charlotte Mason education, physical wellbeing is just as important as mental and spiritual wellbeing. Alveary's P.E. courses build musical ability, balance, coordination, posture, sportsmanship, endurance, and community through games, dances, and free play — all designed for small groups and easily adjusted to any size. Grades 1–3 develop hand-eye coordination and rhythm through Playground Songs & Rhymes, Jump Rope, Free Play, and Folk Dancing. Grades 4–6 add Playground Games, Sports (this year: football, badminton, and softball), and Free Play/Circuits alongside Folk Dancing. Grades 7–12 continue with Playground Games, Sports, and Free Play/Circuits, and add Historic Dancing — learning dances popular during the current historical time period performed to period-appropriate music.
