Importance of Self-Care
As the New Year begins and the whole world seems to speak of resolutions, consider these words from the Alveary Reflective Practice Plan Book (p. 30):
We are all finite creatures with only so much time. When moms prioritize, they often put their own needs dead last; but without proper self-care, humans do not flourish. And if you are not flourishing, it is going to be much more difficult for your school to flourish.
How are you taking care of yourself these days?
- How is your personal spiritual life?
- What are you reading?
- Are you eating well and getting in some active time?
- How are you finding moments alone, time with friends, and time with your spouse?
