Supply List Release
Exciting news! The Supply List will be available on Monday, April 1! Get ready to explore all the wonderful "things" included on this list. Remember, this comprehensive list includes every possible item you might need to complete Alveary lessons. It's not a checklist of things you must buy - consider substitutions you may already have on hand.
We're excited to highlight a few items on the Supply List:
- Shakespeare Puppets: These gorgeous puppets were designed by an Alveary student, adding a fun and interactive element to the plays.
- Science Kits: These kits include the more challenging-to-find things for science labs; common household items and things too expensive to kit are listed separately. One per student, but may be used for 2-3 students working together. Note that we have added kits for high school chemistry and biology this year.
- Geography 7-8: Map drawing supplies include a compass, protractor, and thin black marker. We also encourage a larger journal that lays flat.
- Support for Learning Challenges: We are committed to making the feast more accessible and continue to work carefully and thoughtfully to do so. As a result, you will notice a few common and inexpensive items that can be helpful for those with challenges in reading and writing.
- Handicrafts: Having the right materials on hand increases the likelihood of completing your projects. We are very excited for paper marbling and “stone” carving this year.
Our Work booklets for Grades 1-8 will also be available on April 1. You can find Our Work (which contains the hymns, folk songs, recitations, and artist prints) in the “Reference” section of the Program (Step 2 on your dashboard). There are editable links for those who wish to make substitutions. This year we included four pages of historical drawings (for Grades 4-8) that can be used for your students’ Book of Centuries.
