Favorite Resources
Here are several Alveary resources that are sometimes overlooked.
- Alveary Hive: This is our member community on Mighty Networks, and you’ll also find the Alveary team popping in from time to time. (Even if you don’t need the support of Alveary Hive, there are new Charlotte Mason educators there needing your wisdom & experience!)
- Contact Us: This is the email address for any and all questions and suggestions for the Alveary team. We WANT to hear from you. You’ll find the “contact” button at the top of your dashboard, so we are always just a click away.
- Before Age Six: You’ll find this printable resource on your dashboard with the lesson plans (step three). This gentle guide is full of practical suggestions and activities to use with your youngest children.
- Bookshelf: A database of over 1,000 curated living books and resources to use as free-reads for your students (and yourself). You’ll find the bookshelf under “resources” at the top of your dashboard.
- Composition and History Chart Prompts: These are included in the corresponding lessons, but you can also find them compiled together.
- Compiled history chart prompts are found in the “quick links” in the history lesson plans for each grade, located in the introductory pages of the lesson plan before the daily lessons.
- Compiled composition prompts are found in the “quick links” in the language study plans for each grade, located in the introductory pages of the lesson plan before the daily lessons.
- Extra Helpings: Extra helpings are interesting links and books for students with a high interest in that subject. (They also make good gift ideas.) You can find them at the top of the links pages for each subject. (Scan the QR code or click the link next to it in the lesson plan and look for extra helpings at the top of the page under “quick links”.)
- Composer Study Playlist on YouTube: You can find this under
“quick links” in the composer study lesson plans, located in the introductory pages of the lesson plan. The playlist is on Alveary’s YouTube page and is public so you can share it freely with friends and family. Listen around the house and in the car, as well as using it during lesson time.
