Spring is Arriving

From The Alveary Team:

Spring is arriving across the U.S. and Canada, bringing blooming flowers, longer days, and signs of new life. For Christians, these changes point to the message of Easter: Jesus’ resurrection and the hope of new beginnings. Just as the earth awakens from winter, Easter reminds us that God brings life, renewal, and joy out of darkness.

Have you noticed how nature itself seems to echo that promise? The warmth of the sun after a stretch of cold, the return of birdsong in the mornings, the green shoots pushing up through the soil—it all feels like creation is celebrating along with us. It’s as if the world is whispering, “Life is here. Hope is alive.”

🌸 Blooming Flowers

Especially lilies, which symbolize purity and resurrection, reminding us of new life in Christ.

☀️ Longer Days and More Sunlight

A picture of light overcoming darkness, just as Jesus’ resurrection brings hope after sorrow.

🌱 New Growth on Trees and Plants

A beautiful reflection of spiritual renewal and the fresh life believers receive through Jesus.

🎶 Birdsong and Returning Wildlife

Nature rejoices—just like we do on Easter morning.

🌤️ Warmer Weather

The shift from cold to warmth mirrors the movement from death to life in the Easter story.

🐣 Eggs and Chicks

Traditional signs of new life that point to the resurrection and the promise of eternal life.

This season, consider stepping outside and looking for these gentle reminders of resurrection hope. Bring along a nature journal, and record what you notice: sketches, written notes, or even a simple list of what you see and hear.

Let signs of new life around you be a joyful reminder that God is still in the business of making all things new.
