Dip into our Alveary Foundations tutorials and Reflective Practice Plan Book now to set yourself up for a great start to 2024-25. Then refer back to them as needed; treat them as your companions through the year.

Draft your schedule
Before ordering books, decide which courses you'd like to teach. Ease into Alveary with a beginner schedule or draft your own using the samples by grade. You will also find scheduling tools to plan your year in the sample schedules.

Step 1: Draft your teaching schedule
The first step in starting Alveary is to decide which courses you'd like to teach. Consider your life and time constraints, and ease into Alveary with a beginner schedule or draft your own using the samples by grade.
Order books
On the right, you’ll find our programs by grade. Select a grade to see the curriculum for the year at a glance and the full program with books, course descriptions, placement tips, and purchase links.
Step 2: Tweak schedule and order books
Select the program for the grades your student(s) are in, check placement tips, tweak your schedule if necessary, and order your books.
Read and organize your lesson plans
Our lesson plans inform you how to teach the courses and use the books and supplies that go along with them.
On the right, you’ll find our lesson plans by grade. Find the lesson plan for each course you’ll teach and customize them if necessary.

Get the supplies you need
Now that you’ve chosen your courses, set up your schedule, and looked over your lesson plans, it’s time to order the supplies needed to teach your courses.
On the right, you’ll find our supply list per grade. Order the supplies for each course you’ll teach.

After setting up your schedule and looking over your lesson plans, you can go ahead and buy the necessary supplies in order to teach the courses.

Evaluate the term
After finishing a term, spend one week giving exams, which are offered by subject or by day. Then, take a week’s break from school and use our Reflective Practice Plan Book to help yourself grow as a teacher, reflecting on and assessing your students’ growth and future needs.
