Grades 2–3 choose between U.S. and Canadian tracks: U.S. students join the Page family on a cross-country journey from California to Washington, D.C., exploring landforms, water bodies, maps, and regions over two years. Canadian students explore each region of Canada — its geological features, cultural geography, symbols, and ecosystems — also across two years. All grades practice mapping skills by drawing and building models of local places such as their neighborhood. Grades 2 and 3 can be combined by reversing levels, making this a flexible option for multi-age homes or classrooms.
