Art Resources
We have been focusing on art this month and wanted to remind you of the resources we’ve shared.
How has studying art and/or teaching it to your children changed you? Let us know in the comments of this Hive post.
Notes
1. Science Office Hours: Here is the link from last week’s high school science office hours with Danielle Merritt-Sunseri
2. Natural History Clubs: Fall is here, and it’s a wonderful time to get outside. CMI's new Natural History Clubs equip you with activities, reflection questions, and background information. You'll see things around you, even in familiar places, that you've never noticed before. Register your group!
3. Blue Orchard Bee. The BOB exists to provide support and training for those in neurodiverse homes and classrooms. To make resources more accessible, we’re republishing listeners' favorite episodes with new, fully-edited transcripts. Read the latest here.
4. Recently Read: Chinese Menu is a new release from beloved author Grace Lin. At 288 pages, it is a well-researched and highly-illustrated book on the “history, myths, and legends behind your favorite foods”. While aimed at ages 8-12, this is a book for all ages–even adults!
5. Alveary Overview: This new document is a compilation of Alveary course- and content- progression, as well as the “how-to-teach” information for each subject, all in one place.
6. #howwealveary: We want to see your photos! Please tag us on Instagram using @charlottemasonsalveary. We can't wait to see your children learning together! You can also post in this Circle on Alveary Hive.
